The concept of this wedding was defined by the very first date, based on the date chosen by the couple! Wedding and New Year’s Eve is a combination that requires everything to be sparkling and shiny. A dynamic party, respective of the occasion.
The bridal dress was the ultimate choice for this particular evening. An elegant white toilet full of embroidered white sequins and beads and an idea of marabu feathers. Silver mirror heels and handmade iceberg-like jewels made our bride look like a modern snow queen!
A special colour palette was chosen in burgundy, dusty pink, lilac and shades of grey, which also proves that this couple wanted them all unconventional.
The church placed a mirror bar offering warm wine and water to guests accompanied by burgundy, pink and white macaron, meringue with silver accents and biscuits with the monogram of the wedding, which the groom designed.
A modern-abstract arch full of grey tint greenery and flowers in the colors of the theme was placed on the stairs of the church surrounded by endless burgundy candles that engulfed the entrance of the couple.
At the venue we created a backdrop of luxurious burgundy velvet which was the ideal backround for the welcome table. The same velvet was placed in the middle of the tables, with food towels in burgundy and dusty pink, lilac glasses, flower arrangements in the imposing candlesticks, silver confetti irregularly placed to prepare guests for the party that would follow. As a small gift for the new year we gave everyone a name tag in transparent plexy glass, which tied perfectly with the invitation they originally received.
The couple made their entrance among fountains-fireworks with the song Whole Lotta Rosie sung live by Mariagela, as the groom’s surprise to the bride. Next there was dance routines by the bride, groom and best men under the fairylights-filled ceiling, confetti throws, speeches and wishes for the year that was ending in a few minutes.
One of the most enchanting moments was the new year’s countdown. The view of the city with the endless fireworks, our fireworks and the extra throwing of confetti found the guests flooded with feelings of joy, love and emotion, while the place was filled with hugs and wishes!
A wedding truly unforgettable, a couple so unique!
